Healthiest Weight Florida 

Healthiest Weight Florida – FDOH launched the Healthiest Weight Florida initiative in early 2013.  Healthiest Weight Florida brings together state agencies, not for profit organizations, businesses, and entire communities to help Florida’s children and adults make consistent, informed choices about healthy eating and active living.

SNAP-Ed 

What is SNAP-Ed? SNAP-Ed is short for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education. This program offers nutrition education to teach families how to make healthy food choices on a limited budget and to be physically active for good health. SNAP-Ed classes teach behavioral changes such as how to: Eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains, Drink fewer sugary beverages and reduce sodium intake, Increase physical activity levels, Maintain appropriate nutritional balance at all life stages.
