Walton County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Walton County (DOH-Walton) conducts regularly scheduled water quality testing for Enterococcus bacteria through the Healthy Beaches Program.
When a sample shows that the level of bacteria exceeds the level established by state guidelines, DOH-Walton will issue a water quality health advisory for that location.
