DOH-Walton Lifts Water Quality Health Advisory

DeFuniak Springs, Fla. —The Florida Department of Health in Walton County (DOH-Walton) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels the following location:

Morrison Springs
874 Morrison Springs Road
Ponce de Leon, FL 32455

Tests completed on January 7, 2025, indicate that the water quality at Morrison Springs shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at the Florida Department of Health’s Beach Water Quality website.
