DOH-Walton Announces Changes in Clinic Hours

DeFuniak Springs, Fla. The Walton County Health Department Clinics and the Walton Community Health Center are adjusting operations in order to best deliver essential medical services to patients during the presence of the novel coronavirus in our community. 

Changes include implementation of screening processes for persons entering our facilities and for persons making appointments in our clinics, and the delivery of services by phone to allow citizens to follow social distancing recommendations and guidelines issued by the local, state, and federal government.   We have also implemented procedures within our clinic areas to protect patients and staff. 

 

Locations and Times

 

  • Paxton Clinic location will be open one day per week from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM until further notice.  (Please call 850-892-8015 for available days and services as they may vary).

 

  • Coastal Clinic location will provide Family Planning, Prenatal, STD, and Immunization services only Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM. 

 

  • DeFuniak Springs Clinic location will provide Essential Primary Care, Family planning, STD, and Immunization services from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
