Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded for South Walton Utility Company

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
HAS BEEN RESCINDED
Water meets all regulations for residents to safely consume
MIRAMAR BEACH, FL –A “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” for South
Walton Utility Company, Inc. (SWUCI) customers has been lifted. All
residents may now consume water as usual. All users should now allow
water to run for five minutes at each tap to flush the lines with safe
water. Remember to discard the ice in all ice makers.
The notice was rescinded following the repair of a water main break and
the satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey showing that the
water is safe to drink. Anyone with additional questions should call Joe
