Florida residents and any individual in Florida who is present in Florida for the purpose of providing goods or services for the benefit of residents and visitors of the state is eligible to be vaccinated.
 
All individuals under the age of 18 receiving a vaccine must be accompanied by a guardian and complete the COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form.

The Moderna and Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccines are authorized for persons age 18 and up. The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for persons age 16 and up.

DOH-Walton/Walton Community Health Center conducts free COVID-19 testing in DOH-Walton locations in Santa Rosa Beach and DeFuniak Springs by appointment only. Call 850-401-6453 to schedule a testing appointment only. Antibody tests are not available.
 
Demographic information on COVID-19 cases due to ongoing epidemiological investigations, are provisional and subject to change: For the week of May 9 through May 15, there were 41 new Walton County cases reported. Walton County total cases (7,849). Municipalities by ZIP code can be found on the dashboard (click on the bottom of the page Cases by ZIP code). Detailed community data excludes outbreaks at Correctional Facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities, and out of state residents tested in Walton County and can be found on the County Line Report on FloridaHealthCOVID19.gov. 
There have been 87 deaths in Walton County. COVID-19 Hospitalizations in Walton County Hospitals as of today (4) This data may include persons other than Walton County cases.
 
Included in total cases is 495 current and past outbreaks in Walton County Correctional facilities staff and inmates.
 
Included in total cases is current and past outbreaks of (274) residents and/or staff that have tested positive for COVID-19 in Long-Term Care Facilities in Walton County. The daily COVID-19 report also includes information from the Agency for Health Care Administration, by county about cases and deaths related to staff or residents in long-term care facilities his report is also available at FloridaHealthCOVID19.gov.
