DOH-Walton Updates Registration Information for COVID-19 Vaccination for the Week of February 8-12

DeFuniak Springs, Fla. –The Florida Department of Health in Walton County has received 600 1st doses of Moderna Covid 19 vaccine for the week of February 8- 12.  You may register for an appointment on Monday, February 8, beginning at 1:00 PM, using the following link.

All three events will be accessible via that link. 

THIS LINK WILL NOT BE VISABLE UNTIL 1:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2021.

1st dose appointments will be for one of the below days:

  • Wednesday, February 10, 2021

    • FDOH Walton - Coastal Branch Clinic, Santa Rosa Beach, FL

  • Thursday, February 11, 2021

    • DeFuniak Springs – Walton County Fairgrounds

  • Friday, February 12, 2021

    • FDOH Walton - Coastal Branch Clinic, Santa Rosa Beach, FL

If you are not able to use the on-line registration, please call (850) 892-8392 on Monday, February 8th beginning at 1:00 PM for assistance in scheduling an appointment.

Persons who have already received their first dose do not need to register for their 2nd dose appointment, they have already been given an appointment when receiving the first dose. 2nd dose appointments scheduled for February 11th will be at Walton County Fairgrounds in DeFuniak Springs, not Gene Hurley Park in DeFuniak Springs.

2nd dose appointments scheduled for February 10th and 12th will remain at our Coastal branch in Santa Rosa Beach.

You may have seen a press release earlier from the Joint Information Center on COVID-19 for the State of Florida announcing the launch of a statewide preregistration system to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments for individuals 65 and older and frontline health care workers. At this time Walton County is not active in the new system. Please monitor our website https://walton.floridahealth.gov  for updated information on the availability of vaccine and how to register for an appointment as we phase into the new statewide registration system.
